Lag Jaa Gale Gets Hotter In Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster 3
The makers of Sahib, Biwi Aur Gangster 3 have come up with the recreated version of the cult classic Lag Jaa Gale from Woh Kaun Thi? (1964). Check out the romantic song right here...
You would have heard the song even in the previous instalments of Sahib, Biwi Aur Gangster, but this time Lag Jaa Gale is going to be even more romantic. Yes, you read that right!
Sahib, Biwi Aur Gangster 3 makers have released the recreated version of Lag Jaa Gale for the Sanjay Dutt, Chitrangda Singh, Mahie Gill and Jimmy Shergill starrer thriller. Check it out:
The song has been sung by Jonita Gandhi and recreated by Rana Mazumder. The original song was composed by the legendary Madan Mohan and sung by the Nightingale Of India, Lata Mangeshkar.
The song epitomizes the real feel of the film and this time it has been shot in a recording studio with Chitrangda, Mahie and Jonita.
Director of the song, Bittu Arora shares, "The song has been shot in today's time, but I have kept the feel of both the characters in the film. Chitrangda is lively, while Mahie is both black and white, so there is an undercurrent of emotions flowing in the video. In fact, Mahie broke down spontaneously in the song without using glycerine. Chitrangda is simply gorgeous in the song.''
Keeping the current trend in mind, the three girls have been given a fresh look and they have put in a lot of efforts. Adds Bittu, "It was tough to shoot them in a recording studio, but it has turned out really well. Both Chitrangda and Mahie gave me enough time.''
Mahie informs that the 'Biwi' in the film plays the song when she is drunk and sad.
"You cannot find fault in such an iconic song. But this time around we have shot it as a promotional video in a recording studio. All three of us had great fun performing to the song in the studio," says Mahie.
Chitrangda is thrilled to have got the opportunity to be a part of the iconic song. She says, "I am so happy that we have an iconic song in our film and above all, it was picturised on me with others. While performing for the film, it felt like I was part of a classic; it felt special. It's a perfect song and and nothing much has been changed about it. I hope people like this version."
Producer Rahul Mittra chips in, "One really enjoys listening to such an iconic song. Besides, it's an integral part of the story and resonates the essence of the film."
A couple of days back, Chitrangda spoke exclusively to SpotboyE.com and gave us 5 reasons why she thinks you should watch Sahib, Biwi Aur Gangster 3, and she rated this song as one reason. Surely, she is in love with the recreated track.
